Indians third baseman Joel Blanchard left his imprint on his team's 7-6 win over the Gwinnett Braves. Blanchard hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Indianapolis in the contest. Miguel Yanez closed it out for his 9th save. The last-place Braves now sit at 53-64.

Indianapolis won the game in part because of Sam Garrett. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Indians ahead, 7-5. For the game, Garrett had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Blanchard told the Indianapolis Herald.
