Bisons Come Back Late to Top Tides, 7-4
Though he had a stellar game, Eduardo Roman could not prevent his team, the Norfolk Tides, from losing, 7-4, to the Buffalo Bisons. Roman went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Gene Kaiser, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-4. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. The Tides have now dropped 5 straight.

Buffalo right fielder Carlos Cerda contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 67th hit of the season and put the Bisons ahead, 7-4.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cerda told the Buffalo Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
