The Rochester Red Wings topped the Norfolk Tides, 4-0, in International League action at Frontier Field. The standout performance belonged to Rochester pitcher and Guadalajara, Mexico, native Marco Garcia. The winning pitcher was Garcia, now 2-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. The loss makes Norfolk 63-56.

Scott Wilhelm had a big run-scoring triple for the Red Wings in the bottom of the third inning. With Rochester leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Oscar Ramos, who is tied for 10th in the IL with a 1.21 WHIP, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 5th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Wings ahead, 2-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Alfredo Rojas.
