A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Melvin Amezcua led the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to a win over the Gwinnett Braves, 8-2. The win cannot erase the fact that Lehigh Valley still has a disappointing 31-88 record.

The IronPigs picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Amezcua.
