The Norfolk Tides beat the Buffalo Bisons, 6-3. Norfolk pitcher and Spring Valley, Nevada, native Brian Groeschen led the way. Norfolk is now 73-49, while Buffalo is 62-60.

It could have been a different outcome for Norfolk, had it not been for Chris Miller, the 25-year old right fielder . Miller contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put Norfolk up, 4-2.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Miller told the Norfolk Observer. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
