The Indianapolis Indians put together a convincing win at Victory Field, defeating the Pawtucket Red Sox, 13-3. Pat Mountain was one of the hitting stars. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Indianapolis. Adam Ogden earned the win to go to 2-4. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. The Indians are now 63-59.

With Indianapolis leading 8-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Mountain batted against Pawtucket pitcher Allan Corbin. Mountain hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Indians on top, 11-1.
