The Syracuse Chiefs took on the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field.

The Syracuse Chiefs got production up and down the lineup while beating the Toledo Mud Hens, 13-3. One standout was shortstop Brett Rine. Rine, who is tied for 2nd in the IL in RBI with 63, was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Bill Freake went 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the IL with a 10.3 K/9 rate, struck out 7 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 10-8 this season.

Syracuse got a big at-bat from Collierville, Tennessee native Jake Agrusa, who in the top of the third hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Chiefs ahead, 5-0.
