Knights Snatch Late Win
The Charlotte Knights defeated the Indianapolis Indians, 5-3, in International League action at BB&T Stadium. Charlotte pitcher Roberto Aguilar had a standout performance. Charlotte reliever Antonio Gonzalez was the winner. His record is now 7-4. Pat Utterback took the loss. The Knights lead the South Division by 6½ games.

Charlotte took a 5-3 lead on Alberto Hernandez's 23rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Hernandez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Indianapolis pitcher Pat Utterback shaking his head.

"We've got a great group of guys," Hernandez said, "and we're having fun right now."
