Ba Lifts Bulls to 11-4 Win
The Durham Bulls beat the Rochester Red Wings, 11-4, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Bulls got a fine performance from left fielder Danny Ba, who went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Zack Eilers got credit for the save for Durham. It was his 4th of the year. The last-place Bulls lifted their record to 56-68.

Brendon Richard had a big bases-clearing double for the Bulls in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Durham leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Dan Lindsey, who is tied for 4th in the IL in holds with 9, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bulls ahead, 5-1.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Ba.
