Norfolk picked up a win at Harbor Park, bumping off the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-3. Pitcher Oscar Ramos was a major reason the Tides emerged victorious. Picking up his 10th save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jaime Lipscomb. Norfolk is now 64-60, Toledo 68-56.

Norfolk first baseman Matt Anderson contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 98th hit of the season and put the Tides ahead, 1-0.

"Oscar gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Norfolk skipper Alfredo Rojas.
