Buffalo Makes It 8 Straight with 3-2 Win
The Buffalo Bisons took Toledo pitcher Darryl Shirey's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Coca-Cola Field. The final score had Buffalo getting past the Mud Hens, 3-2. Shirey went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 6. Toledo drops to 10-12.

Victor Soto took Toledo hurler Matthew Robert deep in the bottom of the eighth. His solo home run put the Bisons on top, 3-2. In all, Soto had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"This was a tough loss," said Toledo manager Jim Stephens. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
