Lehigh Valley first baseman Joe Dahl helped his team beat the Charlotte Knights, 7-5. Dahl, who is tied for 9th in the IL with a .839 OPS, went 4 for 5 for the IronPigs. At 59-68, the IronPigs are currently 4th in the North Division.

With Lehigh Valley leading 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Dahl hit a fastball from Pete Bain for a 3-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the IronPigs ahead, 6-0.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Dahl told the Lehigh Valley News.
