Toledo picked up a win at BB&T Stadium, bumping off the Charlotte Knights, 5-3. Pitcher Kenneth Jones was a major reason the Mud Hens emerged victorious. Jones, now 6-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The Mud Hens are now 70-57.

Toledo used a well-timed hit by Miguel Grado to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Mud Hens ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
