Gandara Shuts Out Columbus, 10-0
In a remarkable performance, Toledo Mud Hens starter Miguel Gandara beat the Columbus Clippers, 10-0, in an impressive 5-hit shutout.

"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."

The Mud Hens hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.

"It was a rough one for my guys," Columbus manager Tony Trujillo said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."

This season, Gandara has compiled a 11-8 mark with a 3.91 ERA in 25 starts.
