Benido Too Much for Bisons in 5-0 Gwinnett Win
|
Clodio Benido was outstanding against Buffalo. The right-hander had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Braves 5-0 win. The win moves Gwinnett to a record of 13-10.
Benido, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 2-0. In 8 innings of work, Benido gave up no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 13 Ks. He kept the Bisons punchless, offensively.
"Clodio just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Gwinnett manager Stephen Swagerty.
