|
Syracuse right fielder Jay Cool had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Cool hit 2 home runs, even as Buffalo beat the Chiefs, 4-3. The win makes Buffalo 67-62.
Buffalo won the game in part because of Miguel Polanco. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bisons ahead, 4-3. For the game, Polanco had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"We found a way to get it done," Polanco said.
