The Syracuse Chiefs handed the Buffalo Bisons a sound defeat, 11-2, at NBT Bank Stadium. Jesus Barrios was a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Syracuse. Joel Peterson picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-5. He struck out 5 in 6.2 innings.
