Braves Pick Up 10-7 Win Against Norfolk
Norfolk got a terrific game from right fielder Matt Bond. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Gwinnett, 10-7. Bond went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Gwinnett is now 62-70. Norfolk is 60-72.

The Tides had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Braves going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old center fielder Tobias Supico came to the plate. Supico hit a 2-run double on a first pitch fastball from Norfolk hurler Noah Politano. It was Supico's 23rd double of the year.

Supico told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
