Donahue has 3 hits in Charlotte Win
Charlotte first baseman Randy Donahue helped his team beat the Norfolk Tides, 8-6. Donahue, who leads the IL in runs scored with 92, went 3 for 4 for the Knights. Matt Osborne picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 10-2. Garrett Enlow suffered the loss. The Knights are now 92-40, while the Tides fall to 61-71.

The Tides had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Knights going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old third baseman Gilberto Frausto came to the plate. Frausto hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch cutter from Norfolk hurler Garrett Enlow. It was Frausto's 22nd double of the year.

"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Knights manager Nick Zlomke.
