The Buffalo Bisons beat the Scranton WB RailRiders, 4-2. Buffalo pitcher and Oswego, Illinois, native Eric Ferguson led the way. The second-place Bisons improved to 73-59.

Buffalo took a 2-1 lead on Darren Buruse's 8th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Buruse hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Scranton WB pitcher Matt Radl visibly frustrated.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Ferguson told the Buffalo Daily News. "You win just by scoring more runs."
