Bulls Rally Late to Nip Knights
The Charlotte Knights got a superb performance from pitcher Steven Floyd. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Durham. The Bulls won the game, 2-1. Floyd threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Durham reliever Eddie Hines picked up the win, while John Wright took the loss for Charlotte. Earning his 3rd save for Durham was Hugo Ramirez.

Had Brian McDonald not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, McDonald hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Bulls.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Durham manager Arnáo Dique.

Durham now sports a record of 55-78.
