Rochester pitcher Tim Bailey did his part in helping his team beat the Pawtucket Red Sox, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Ricky Roy earned the save, his 5th. Pawtucket has now lost 5 consecutive games.

Rochester used the hitting of Mike Searles to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Wings on top, 3-2. For the game, Searles had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
