The Scranton WB RailRiders picked up a win at Coca-Cola Park, knocking off the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 5-2. On the mound for Scranton WB was right-hander Kirk Wharton. He played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was Matt Barber. He's now 1 for 1 in save chances. The last-place RailRiders now have a record of 57-78.

Scranton WB used a clutch at-bat from Fernando Nunez to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the RailRiders ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
