Indianapolis Nets 4-3 Win Versus Mud Hens
|
The Indianapolis Indians and Toledo Mud Hens played an exciting game.
The Indianapolis Indians picked up a win at Fifth Third Field, dropping the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-3. August Kirchmann was the difference-maker. Indianapolis pitcher Chad McNulty earned the win, hiking his record to 2-4. Elijah Moore suffered the loss. Sid Massagli was credited with the save for Indianapolis, his 4th of the season.
Ryan Silva provided a timely hit. The Indianapolis center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Indians on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
