Despite a fine performance by third baseman Gilberto Frausto, the Charlotte Knights lost to the Gwinnett Braves, 6-2. Frausto was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. Gwinnett is now 77-59, while Charlotte is 61-75.

The Braves got a big at-bat from center fielder Jared Miles. For the game, Miles went 1 for 3 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 4th triple of the season gave Gwinnett a 3-2 lead.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Miles.
