Bisons Lose Late to Chiefs
At Coca-Cola Field, the Buffalo Bisons and Syracuse Chiefs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Syracuse Chiefs cut down the Buffalo Bisons by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Joaquin Reyes. Reyes was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Chiefs. The setback makes Buffalo 71-65.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Daniel Ortiz? The 26-year old third baseman Ortiz stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Syracuse up, 4-3. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
