With catcher Rich Ruiz leading the charge, the Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-5, at Coca-Cola Park. Ruiz was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Sean Warner. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0. Scranton WB now has a 4-game win streak.

Scranton WB got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Chris Olsen. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the RailRiders ahead, 6-5. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.
