Late Rally by RailRiders Secures 5-4 Win
|
Raul Mora was a major factor in the 5-4 Scranton WB win over Lehigh Valley. The RailRiders right fielder went 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Miguel Segura picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. David Adams, who is tied for 4th in the IL in saves with 19, was tagged with the loss. The RailRiders, at 53-87, sit in last place in the North Division.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Mora. Facing David Adams with the bases loaded, the Scranton WB right fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. Game over, walk-off style!
