The Buffalo Bisons defeated the Syracuse Chiefs, 6-1, in International League action at Coca-Cola Field. Buffalo pitcher Ming-hoa Sha had a standout performance. Buffalo goes to 89-51, Syracuse to 74-66.

Ryan Davis had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Buffalo. He came through with a 2-run single to put Buffalo in front, 3-0.

"I thought we were prepared," Syracuse manager Ernesto Miramontes said after the game. "I thought we'd be more competitive out there."
