5 Straight Wins for Clippers
|
The Columbus Clippers picked up a win at Huntington Park, courtesy of Omar Eason. The right-hander helped his team stop the Indianapolis Indians, 2-1. Indianapolis now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
The Clippers got a big boost from catcher Vinny Keller who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Indians hurler Mike Gallegos. It was his 28th walk of the season and put Columbus on top, 1-0.
"I believe in our guys," said Columbus skipper Tony Trujillo. "I like the energy they're playing with."
