Red Wings Earn Late Win
The Rochester Red Wings did just enough to nip the Buffalo Bisons, 5-4, in 10 innings. Rochester pitcher Dan Lindsey, in particular, had a standout performance. Andres Fernandez claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-1. Rochester, at 72-69, occupies third place in the North Division.

Rochester got a game-changing hit from Jimmy Fourhman. The right fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Buffalo manager Casey Bac.
