The Rochester Red Wings got a stellar performance from pitcher Tim Bailey, who handcuffed the Buffalo offense en route to a win, 4-0, at Frontier Field. Bailey, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. The Red Wings move to 72-69 with the win, while the Bisons drop to 84-57.

The Red Wings got a big at-bat from shortstop J.J. Mick. For the game, Mick went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Rochester a 2-0 lead.
