The New Hampshire Fisher Cats topped the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7-3, in Eastern League action at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The standout performance belonged to New Hampshire pitcher and Guatire, Venezuela, native Manuel Cerna. Pete Wimmer picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Bryan Babiarz was tagged with the loss. With the win over Richmond, the Fisher Cats improved to 32-24.

Had Jasper Raucci not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Raucci hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Fisher Cats.

"It feels good to get this one," Raucci told the New Hampshire Herald.
