David Trujillo had a big hand in the 10-6 New Hampshire triumph over Portland. He rattled off 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 4 runs. The winner was Jesse Smedley in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Jack Hale took the loss. The win elevated the Fisher Cats to 30-29.

Alex Palafox, who is tied for 8th in the EL in stolen bases with 13, aided the New Hampshire cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Palafox said later.
