Fisher Cats Knock Off Curve, 2-1
|
In a low-scoring game between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Altoona Curve, pitcher Jose Castillo was masterful on the mound. The New Hampshire right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. The victory gives New Hampshire a record of 31-29.
New Hampshire went up, 2-1, on Alex Palafox's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Palafox hit in the top of the seventh, left Altoona pitcher Chris Lemieux stewing.
"Nice win," said Palafox. "Not sure what else you want me to say."
