Verduzco belts 2 home runs in Flying Squirrels Win
The Richmond Flying Squirrels downed the Harrisburg Senators, 9-2. The hitting star was third baseman Willie Verduzco. Verduzco belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Flying Squirrels. The Flying Squirrels improved their record to 30-31 by beating Harrisburg.

With Richmond leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Verduzco came up to bat against Harrisburg pitcher Andres Rangel. Verduzco hit a curveball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Flying Squirrels on top, 7-1.

"Things didn't bounce our way," said Harrisburg skipper Tan Timmermans.
