Slumping RubberDucks Lose Again
The umbrellas came out during the New Hampshire-Akron contest at Canal Park.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats picked up a win at Canal Park, dropping the Akron RubberDucks, 4-2. Glen Trecker, who is tied for 5th in the EL with a 9.2 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. With the win, New Hampshire upped its record to 39-22.

New Hampshire used the hitting of Ramon Ybarra to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Fisher Cats on top, 3-0. For the game, Ybarra had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I know everybody in here is putting in the work," said Akron manager Michael Chiquito. "It's just not paying off."
