Kirk Wharton, who is tied for 4th in the EL in quality starts with 8, never let the Fightin Phils get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Thunder to a win, 4-0. Trenton occupies 5th place in the Northern Division at 26-36.
