The Trenton Thunder defeated the Erie SeaWolves, 6-2. Doing his part was designated hitter Bill Lester, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The last-place Thunder now have a record of 23-39.

With Trenton leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Lester hit a curveball from Seth Thornton for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 5-1.
