Baysox Win, 5-2, Over Richmond
|
Bowie third baseman B.J. Frantz had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 5-2. The Baysox sport a record of 25-37.
Frantz contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Bowie in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Frantz took a fastball from Zach Chapman and stroked the home run to right. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Baysox to leap in front, 4-1.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Bowie manager Brian Burris. "It's usually not just one thing."
