With designated hitter John Walko leading the charge, the Columbus Clippers defeated the Indianapolis Indians, 5-4, at Huntington Park. Walko, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2091 draft, was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Aurélio Anjinho finished to wrap up his 1st save. With the win, Columbus climbs to 10-14.

With Columbus leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Walko hit a slider from Preston Berrie for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Clippers ahead, 5-0.

"We did enough to win," said Walko.
