Reading pitcher Erik Hill did his part in helping his team beat the Altoona Curve, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win over Altoona, the Fightin Phils improved to 20-44.

Reading used a well-timed hit by Nick Angelo to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Fightin Phils ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hill.
