The Pawtucket Red Sox managed to get by the Scranton WB RailRiders, 5-4, at PNC Field. Pawtucket left fielder Steve McReynolds set himself apart with his performance. The loss drops Scranton WB to 9-15.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Chad Tillis? The 24-year old second baseman Tillis stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Pawtucket up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," McReynolds told the Pawtucket Daily.
