The Trenton Thunder beat the Binghamton Mets, 4-2. Trenton pitcher and Morrisville, North Carolina, native Adam Redel led the way. Trenton currently is in last place in the Northern Division at 24-41.
Chris Athay had a direct impact on the outcome. Athay contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Trenton up, 4-1.
