Senators Curb Mets, 4-3
The Harrisburg Senators did just enough to sneak past the Binghamton Mets, 4-3, at FNB Field. Harrisburg pitcher Mike DeWolfe, in particular, had a standout performance. DeWolfe, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. The win for the Senators lifted their record to 35-31.

The Senators got a big at-bat from third baseman Michael Malone. For the game, Malone was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Harrisburg a 4-2 lead.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Malone, "and then get after it again."
