The Portland Sea Dogs reigned over the Altoona Curve in damp conditions.

The Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Altoona Curve by the score of 5-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Nate Findlay. Findlay went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Sea Dogs on the day. Portland reliever Rick Harrington picked up the win to move to 2-1. Noah Cirbus suffered the loss. The save went to Tyler Ropson, number 12 for him.

Findlay had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 cutter from Noah Cirbus, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Sea Dogs a 4-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Findlay.

"I always go out there hoping to contribute," said Findlay.

The Sea Dogs now have a record of 30-38.
