The Altoona Curve knocked off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 9-1, at The Diamond. Noah Gelderman was a big reason Altoona won. The shortstop was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Altoona has a record of 30-36, placing them 5th in the Southern Division.

Altoona used a big swing from Bobby Lopez to get the win. The second baseman walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Curve up, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
