The Bowie Baysox racked up a win at Arm & Hammer Park, bumping off the Trenton Thunder, 5-4, in 13 innings. Sam Leonard, who started for Bowie, pitched effectively for his team. Bobby Richman claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 6-1. Bowie has now won 4 in a row.
Tim Bristol went 1 for 2 with a walk against the Thunder. With the game tied in the top of the 13th inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Bowie in front, 5-4.
