The Reading Fightin Phils launched their 2110 campaign with a victory over the Erie SeaWolves at FirstEnergy Stadium. Reading designated hitter Vinny Bezanson was instrumental in the 4-1 win. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Bobby Markham closed the door for Reading, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Early in the game, Bezanson had a 2-run home run for Reading. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Fightin Phils on top, 2-0.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Bezanson.
