In a well-pitched game between the Binghamton Mets and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, pitcher Antonio Segura was fantastic. The Binghamton right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. Segura, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. Binghamton is now 2-7.
Jonathan Dominguez helped out the Binghamton cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
"I felt good out of the gates," said Segura.
