The first-place New Hampshire Fisher Cats took on the Altoona Curve in front of a spirited crowd.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats cruised to a win over the Altoona Curve, 14-3, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Luis Maldonado led the way, going 3-for-4 for New Hampshire. The Fisher Cats improved their record to 42-26 with the win over Altoona.

In the bottom of the fifth, New Hampshire third baseman Erik Stewart had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Stewart stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 5-2, New Hampshire. For the game, he was 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
