Fisher Cats Topple SeaWolves, 4-3
The Erie SeaWolves got a superb performance from pitcher Ernie Lowery, but the New Hampshire Fisher Cats still won the game, 4-3. Lowery threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. New Hampshire pitcher John Ferch got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ernie Lowery got the loss. Preston Holub closed it out for New Hampshire, earning his 9th save.

Timely hitting helped the Fisher Cats beat the SeaWolves. Prime example: the two-out single Jorge Iglesias registered in the bottom of the seventh. Facing Ernie Lowery, Iglesias gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said New Hampshire manager Quinn Autrey.

New Hampshire is now 32-37, Erie 32-37.
