The Reading Fightin Phils got a stellar effort from pitcher Jose Leon, helping Reading score a win over the visiting Trenton Thunder, 6-1. Trenton has now lost 4 in a row.

The Fightin Phils got an important contribution from designated hitter Vinny Bezanson, who in the bottom of the third hit a 0-1 fastball to right for a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Fightin Phils ahead, 3-1.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Leon told a Reading Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
