The New Hampshire Fisher Cats got a stellar performance from pitcher Tony Negron, who handcuffed the Altoona offense en route to a win, 2-0, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. With this game in the books, New Hampshire is 41-29, Altoona 26-45.

The Fisher Cats got a big hit from catcher Paul Mulligan. In the bottom of the fifth, Mulligan pounded a solo home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season put the Fisher Cats ahead, 2-0.

Negron said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
